Koneksi fisik ini terjadi antara node atau perangkat seperti <a href=\"https:\/\/www.linuxid.net\/istilah\/router\/\">router<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.linuxid.net\/istilah\/switch\/\">switch<\/a>, dan <a href=\"https:\/\/www.linuxid.net\/istilah\/hub\/\">hub<\/a> melalui kabel tembaga atau serat optik.<\/p>\n<p>Pada dasarnya, standar IEEE 802.3 menentukan media fisik dan karakteristik operasional dari <a href=\"https:\/\/www.linuxid.net\/istilah\/Ethernet\/\">Ethernet<\/a>. Namun, saat ini ada banyak variasi dari standar ini yang digunakan.<\/p>\n<h2>Apa saja standar komunikasi IEEE 802.3 yang paling populer?<\/h2>\n<p>Standar Ethernet pertama mendukung kecepatan data 10 megabit per detik (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.linuxid.net\/istilah\/Mbps\/\">Mbps<\/a>). Saat ini, ada banyak varian dari 802.3 yang digunakan.
