Contoh umum transduser termasuk mikrofon, speaker, termometer, sensor posisi dan tekanan, serta <a href=\"https:\/\/www.linuxid.net\/istilah\/antenna\/\">antena<\/a>. Meskipun jarang dianggap sebagai transduser, fotodioda, LED (light-emitting diode), dan bahkan lampu pijar biasa sebenarnya juga merupakan transduser.<\/p>\n<p align=\"left\/\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.linuxid.net\/istilah\/operational-efficiency\/\">Efisiensi<\/a> adalah faktor penting dalam setiap transduser. Efisiensi transduser didefinisikan sebagai rasio antara daya keluaran dalam bentuk yang diinginkan terhadap total daya masukan. Biasanya, kehilangan ini muncul dalam bentuk panas. Beberapa antena memiliki efisiensi mendekati 100 persen.
