USP ini bisa berupa harga paling murah, kualitas paling tinggi, pengalaman paling lama, yang pertama di jenis produknya, atau nilai unik lainnya yang bikin produk tersebut beda dari yang lain. USP juga harus cukup menarik supaya bisa bikin konsumen penasaran dan mau tahu lebih lanjut. Kuncinya adalah menyeimbangkan antara apa yang diinginkan konsumen dengan apa yang benar-benar bisa disediakan oleh bisnis. Jadi, produk atau brand bisa tampil beda dan lebih unggul dibanding kompetitor. Kita harus tahu kelebihan dan kekurangan mereka, lalu cari celah yang bisa kita isi agar produk atau brand kita tampil beda. USP yang bagus tetap harus selaras dengan keinginan konsumen, tapi juga harus mempertimbangkan dinamika pasar secara keseluruhan.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"main-article-image half-col\" data-img-fullsize=\"https:\/\/www.techtarget.com\/rms\/onlineimages\/unique_selling_point_figure3-h.png\/\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.techtarget.com\/rms\/onlineimages\/unique_selling_point_figure3-h_half_column_mobile.png\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.techtarget.com\/rms\/onlineimages\/unique_selling_point_figure3-h_half_column_mobile.png 960w,https:\/\/www.techtarget.com\/rms\/onlineimages\/unique_selling_point_figure3-h.png 1280w\" alt=\"Unique selling point (Figure 3)\" width=\"279\/\" height=\"263\" \/><\/p>\n<div class=\"main-article-image-enlarge\/\"><\/div>\n<\/figure>\n<p>Salah satu cara melihat USP adalah dengan mempertanyakan: \u201cApa sih yang belum ditawarkan oleh kompetitor, dan kita bisa kasih itu?\u201d Atau bisa juga mikir lebih luas, \u201cApa yang belum tersedia di pasar sama sekali?\u201d Dari situ, kita pakai insight pasar buat menyusun USP yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan konsumen dan kekuatan bisnis kita.<\/p>\n<p>Dalam praktiknya, USP ini kadang diwujudkan dalam bentuk <em>positioning statement<\/em>, yaitu pernyataan resmi tentang bagaimana sebuah produk atau brand bisa memenuhi kebutuhan konsumen dengan cara yang nggak bisa dilakukan oleh pesaing.<\/p>\n<h2>Contoh Unique Selling Point (USP)<\/h2>\n<p>USP yang efektif bakal bikin produk atau brand kelihatan beda dan menarik perhatian pelanggan potensial. Berikut beberapa contoh USP dari brand ternama:<\/p>\n<ul class=\"default-list\/\">\n<li><strong>Canva: <em>Empowering the world to design<\/em>.<\/strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.canva.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\/\">Canva<\/a> adalah platform desain grafis yang mempermudah semua orang bikin desain. USP-nya menekankan kemudahan akses dan kemampuannya menjangkau berbagai kalangan, dari pemula sampai profesional.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Hiut Denim Co.: <em>Do one thing well<\/em>.<\/strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/hiutdenim.co.uk\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\/\">Hiut Denim<\/a> hanya bikin jeans, dan mereka bangga dengan itu. USP-nya menunjukkan bahwa fokus total pada satu produk bisa menghasilkan kualitas terbaik.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Patagonia: <em>We&#8217;re in business to save our home planet<\/em>.<\/strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.patagonia.com\/home\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\/\">Patagonia<\/a> nggak cuma jual baju outdoor, tapi juga menyuarakan misi lingkungan. USP ini membedakan mereka dari brand lain dengan memberikan nilai lebih bagi konsumen yang peduli lingkungan.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Peet&#8217;s Coffee: <em>The original craft coffee<\/em>.<\/strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.peets.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\/\">Peet&#8217;s Coffee<\/a> memanfaatkan sejarah mereka sejak tahun 1966 sebagai pelopor kopi artisan di AS. USP ini memberikan kesan otoritas dan pengalaman mendalam yang tidak dimiliki brand kopi lain.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Shopify: <em>The platform commerce is built on<\/em>.<\/strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.shopify.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\/\">Shopify<\/a> menekankan perannya sebagai fondasi utama untuk bisnis online.
