Contoh protokol yang menggunakan metode ini adalah <a href=\"https:\/\/www.linuxid.net\/istilah\/OSPF-Open-Shortest-Path-First\/\">Open Shortest Path First<\/a> dan Distance Vector Multicast Routing Protocol.<\/p>\n<p>Network flooding juga memiliki beberapa kegunaan lain, termasuk:<\/p>\n<ul class=\"default-list\/\">\n<li>mengirimkan paket data secara multicast dari satu node sumber ke banyak node tertentu dalam jaringan nyata atau virtual;<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.linuxid.net\/istilah\/bridge\/\">bridging<\/a>;<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.linuxid.net\/istilah\/peer-to-peer\/\">berbagi file peer-to-peer<\/a>; dan<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.linuxid.net\/istilah\/ad-hoc-network\/\">jaringan nirkabel ad hoc<\/a>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Bagaimana Algoritma Flooding Bekerja?<\/h2>\n<p>Dalam ilmu komputer, algoritma flooding dapat dikonfigurasi dengan dua cara:<\/p>\n<ul class=\"default-list\/\">\n<li>setiap node bertindak sebagai pengirim dan penerima; atau<\/li>\n<li>setiap node mencoba mengirimkan paket ke semua node lain kecuali node sumber.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Bagaimanapun caranya, hasil akhirnya adalah informasi yang diflooding akan mencapai semua node dalam jaringan.<\/p>\n<h2>Jenis-Jenis Network Flooding<\/h2>\n<p>Network flooding dapat terjadi dalam tiga cara, yaitu controlled flooding, uncontrolled flooding, dan selective flooding.<\/p>\n<ul class=\"default-list\/\">\n<li><strong>Controlled flooding<\/strong> menggunakan dua <a href=\"https:\/\/www.linuxid.net\/istilah\/algorithm\/\">algoritma<\/a> untuk memastikan flooding tetap terkendali. Algoritma tersebut adalah Reverse Path Forwarding dan Sequence Number Controlled Flooding.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Uncontrolled flooding<\/strong> tidak memiliki logika kondisional untuk mengontrol bagaimana node mendistribusikan paket informasi ke node lain. Tanpa batasan ini, distribusi ulang paket yang sama bisa terjadi berulang kali, yang dikenal sebagai <em>broadcast storm<\/em> atau <em>ping storm<\/em>.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Selective flooding<\/strong> memungkinkan node untuk hanya mengirim paket ke router dalam satu arah tertentu. Misalnya, network flooding dapat membuang <a href=\"https:\/\/www.linuxid.net\/istilah\/bandwidth\/\">bandwidth<\/a> jaringan jika paket informasi dikirim ke semua <a href=\"https:\/\/www.linuxid.net\/istilah\/IP-address-Internet-Protocol-Address\/\">IP address<\/a> padahal hanya beberapa yang membutuhkannya.<\/p>\n<p>Selain itu, peretas dapat memanfaatkan flooding untuk melakukan serangan denial of service (DoS) yang menyebabkan layanan menjadi tidak responsif atau mengganggu jaringan komputer.<\/p>\n<p>Administrator jaringan dapat mencegah serangan flooding dan masalah konektivitas akibat uncontrolled flooding dengan beberapa langkah berikut:<\/p>\n<ul class=\"default-list\/\">\n<li>menggunakan <a href=\"https:\/\/www.linuxid.net\/istilah\/firewall\/\">firewall<\/a> untuk mencegah peretas mendapatkan akses yang dibutuhkan untuk melancarkan serangan DoS;<\/li>\n<li>menerapkan <a href=\"https:\/\/www.linuxid.net\/istilah\/time-to-live\/\">time to live<\/a> atau hop count saat menggunakan network flooding untuk membatasi jumlah node yang harus dilewati paket sebelum mencapai tujuan akhirnya;<\/li>\n<li>menggunakan controlled flooding untuk memastikan bahwa setiap paket hanya diteruskan ke sebuah node satu kali; dan<\/li>\n<li>menerapkan <a href=\"https:\/\/www.linuxid.net\/istilah\/network-topology\/\">topologi jaringan<\/a> yang tidak memungkinkan terjadinya loop.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Apa itu Network Flooding?
